JoJo Siwa reveals 'crazy stalker' sent her a bomb and sex toys when she was 12 years old
JoJo Siwa has revealed that a ‘crazy stalker’ once sent her bizarre items in the mail when she was just 12 years old.
While some Brits may only just be aware of the existence of the American performer thanks to Celebrity Big Brother, the 21-year-old has been in the public eye for quite some time.
Competing in dance competitions from a young age, JoJo appeared on spin-off show Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition which led to a spot on parent show Dance Moms back in 2015.
JoJo was then signed to Nickelodeon in 2017, acting in various TV shows and films, releasing children’s songs and even setting up a girl band.

Back in 2020, she was included on Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
But unfortunately, being in the spotlight at such a young age wasn’t all sunshine and hair bows.
The ‘Karma’ singer gave an insight into some of those darker moments while speaking to Big Brother in the Dairy Room in the show’s latest instalment.
When asked about bizarre fan mail, JoJo explained that the ‘weirdest thing’ she’d ever had sent to her was ‘a bomb’.
“I had a crazy, crazy stalker and he sent me loads of things - sex toys, knives,” the star revealed.
“But he sent me a bomb, a man-made bomb. And that got him put in prison for five whole years.”
The ‘Boomerang’ singer pretty calmly retold the ordeal as she said she was still pretty young at the ‘very scary’ time.
“'I was little, I was only 13, 12? I would've been 12 or 13, he got out when I was 17,” she added
“At the time it was very scary. Obviously now still, it's very scary, but I have an incredible team around me who protect and handle things like that the way they need to. But yeah, scary.”
Fans of the show were shocked by this revelation as one wrote on X: “Things like this just make feel bad for JoJo because being brought up as a kid in the spotlight would definitely be a very unusual experience. Being sent a bomb and sex toys as a 12-year-old is disgusting and traumatic.”
Another called it ‘so f**ked up’ as others were shocked over how ‘casually’ she retold the tale.
“Poor girl has been dealing with awful s**t since she was a young kid,” one added.
