Kirsten Dunst spoke out about having to kiss 30-year-old Brad Pitt when she was just 12

Kirsten Dunst was really not a fan of having to kiss Brad Pitt during the 1994 film Interview With The Vampire and has been pretty clear she found it 'gross'.

The movie stars Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as vampires who turn a dying child played by Dunst into one of their fellow bloodsuckers, and at one point she has to kiss Pitt's character on the lips.

Dunst had been a young child when those scenes were filmed and Pitt was around 30, so it one of those scenes the actor has said repeatedly that she didn't like at all, having told Entertainment Tonight all those years ago how 'gross' she found it.

She had said: "I hated it so much because Brad was like my older brother on set. It was kind of like kissing your brother, I don't know.

"It was weird kissing an older guy, I had to kiss him on the lips, so it was gross."

It sounds like Pitt wasn't much of a fan of it either, as he said it had been 'no easy road for me either you know, I mean my dad's got to watch this movie'.

Dunst had said to that: "I bet he didn't, I mean he had to kiss a little girl, but it was worse for me because I had to bend down and kiss him."

All the way though her career if she's talked about that moment she's made it clear she didn't like doing that scene, having told Vanity Fair that while the only time she complained to director Neil Jordan was for a different moment she found it 'very weird'.

She said: "The only time I remember complaining to Neil Jordan was I had to bite this woman's neck and she was sweating, like sweating, and I was like, 'Ugh'. I was like, 'Neil!'

"So that was the worst thing I did, and also having obviously to kiss Brad Pitt at that point. I was a little girl, and he was like a brother to me, and it was very weird.

"Even though it was a peck, I just was very not into it. Other than that, I was treated like a total princess on that set."

Dunst also spoke about the scene when she spoke to Conan O'Brien to say she 'thought it was disgusting'.

"It was like, I was 11, it would have been weird if I was like 'this is amazing, I'm kissing Brad Pitt', like then I think people would think I was a little bit off," she'd said.
