People spot shocking lyric change Keith Urban made during performance just before Nicole Kidman divorce

It happened days before Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage

Fans have spotted a lyric change Keith Urban made on stage before Nicole Kidman's divorce filing.

The Babygirl actor, 58, filed for divorce from the country singer, 57, in a Nashville court on Tuesday (30 September).

Oscar winner Kidman - who shares two teenage daughters with the New Zealander after getting married in 2006 - noted in the filing that the pair 'suffered irreconcilable differences'.

An agreed child care plan, subject to a judge's approval, read: “The mother and father will behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.

“They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”

Just days before news of the divorce filing broke, Urban's new guitarist Maggie Baugh shared a video of the four-time Grammy winner changing the lyric from one of his songs.

During a performance of 2016 song 'The Fighter' on his High And Alive World Tour, Keith sings: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player."

"Did he just say that," the 25-year-old said in the caption to the video, as the original lyrics of the song featuring Carrie Underwood are: "When they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter."

Urban previously said to Billboard that the track was 'all from a conversation my wife and I had early on in our relationship, that when things get tough, I need to hold her tighter and just try to take care of her'.

"The song is about wanting to heal somebody, wanting to take care of somebody, wanting to protect somebody. It’s really like a vow in so many ways," he explained.

In the comments section to the video, one person wrote: "And now he's getting divorced....eeeek!"

"No he didn’t just say that, you’re making s**t up," another penned.

While a third added: "Don’t get much better than that!"

Last year, the singer said his wife showed him 'what love in action really looks like' after she won the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award.

Urban - who suffered from substance abuse problems almost immediately after they married in 2006 - said: “Four months into our marriage, I’m in rehab for three months.

“Nic pushed through every negative voice, I’m sure even some of her own, and she chose love. And here we are 18 years later.”
