'Dramatic' twist in Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce as filing uncovers major decision

The pair have reportedly been living separately since the summer

There has been a 'dramatic' twist in the ongoing divorce proceedings between singer Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman.

A filing has revealed a major decision in the pair's relationship, with 19 years of marriage looking likely to come to an end.

It was reported on 29 September that the two A-listers would be splitting up, with TMZ claiming that the country music performer has been living apart from his wife 'since the beginning of summer' in a Nashville pad.

The duo, who share two children together, only shared an Instagram post in June celebrating their anniversary but it seems as if things may have turned sour over the last few months.

A source has now revealed to People that things are turning 'dramatic', as Kidman, 58, reportedly wants to save their marriage, whereas Urban, 57, allegedly has other ideas.

"Their split is turning dramatic. Nicole's hurt and feels betrayed," the source claimed. "She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he's already moved on."

Kidman, who only recently shared some of her tips for a 'successful' relationship, has been busy recently, starring in Baby Girl, where she admitted she had to pause filming because 'she didn't want to orgasm anymore'.

The Oscar winner has also been starring in the Amazon Prime series Nine Perfect Strangers and it seems as if her hectic schedule might have played its part in the split.

One source told the Daily Mail: "Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour. There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce.

"They been together for decades so there is a world which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, they are not a couple."

However, as per court documents obtained by People, it seems as if there might be no way back for the celebrity pair, as they reveal plans for their two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

They claim that the estranged couple have already worked out a parenting schedule, which sees Kidman becoming the 'primary residential parent' and getting 306 days with their daughters while Urban will get 59 days.

According to the filing, it is also stated that neither party will speak badly of the other, or the other's family, and they will 'encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families'.

It's said that both are also mandated to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of the divorce filing.
