Kelly Brook revealed that she once came to blows with her former boyfriend, Jason Statham, after she caught him trying to flirt with an A-list celebrity.

The model and actress, 45, said she let her fist do the talking when she heard the Hollywood hard man call another well-known film star 'sexy'.

Unfortunately for Statham, his former girlfriend was standing right behind him when he complimented the celebrity at a bash to celebrate Madonna and Guy Ritchie's wedding.

Brook began dating The Transporter actor, 58, in 1998 and at one point, the pair were even engaged; however, they ended up parting ways in 2004. According to the former Page 3 girl, who is heading into the Australian jungle for I'm A Celebrity, Statham struggled to make their relationship a priority as his career took off.

During an appearance on the How To Fail podcast, Brook explained that she ultimately 'fell out of love' with the Fast and Furious star as she felt 'neglected' by him.

"He didn’t show up for me, like the way I showed up for him," she said. "We broke up, and I think he just turned round to me and was like ‘Why are you leaving now? I’m a movie star and a millionaire, why now?’

"And I was like, ‘You just haven’t been there for me and during this process I’ve become a woman and I don’t think you know who I am anymore’. It was just a really hard time. It was the best decision."

Four years before they had this conversation, Brook and her then-boyfriend attended Madonna's December 2000 wedding to Guy Ritchie at a castle in the Scottish Highlands.

It was, of course, a star-studded affair, with VIPs such as Sting, Stella McCartney, Rupert Everett, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Donatella Versace in attendance.

Brook claims that one of these well-known guests caught the eye of Statham at the wedding, leaving her furious with her fella.

She explained how she caught him 'flirting' in her 2014 book, Close Up, where she wrote: "Jason started to swing his hips from side to side and do a little jive with his arms, saying: 'Gywnnie, Gwynnie, Gwynnie! Sexy, sexy, sexy!'

"He turned round, only to be met with my fist in his face."

Brook has also previously admitted to hitting her former boyfriend, Danny Cipriani, who played Rugby Union for England, during their two-year relationship.

In another passage of Close Up, the Brit said she punched the sports star after catching him slipping his number to a stripper in Las Vegas, as she wrote: "As I headed back to the table, I saw Danny walking towards me. 'Babe', he said, 'I've been looking for you!' I punched him straight in the face."

Brook came under fire for these admissions in 2014, and a series of anti-domestic violence campaigners branded her actions 'unacceptable'.

During a previous appearance on This Morning, where she addressed the controversy, she said: "In my defence, I don't think [Statham] felt it. This is Jason we're talking about - he's a martial arts expert!

"It's true, I did both of those things. I'm not saying I'm an angel, and I'm not saying that things I've done are right.

"I'm not saying that's the right thing to do at all but yeah, I guess I got some of that fiery passion from my parents...These are big men that I go out with, they're not going to (feel it)... Look at me! I can't exactly do a man any damage."

LADbible Group has contacted the representatives of Statham and Paltrow for comment.
