Kelly Brook admits why she split up from ex-fiancé Jason Statham after seven-year relationship

Kelly Brook has opened up about why her relationship with ex-fiancé Jason Statham fizzled out.
The soon-to-be I'm A Celeb campmate, 45, was once engaged to the Fast & Furious star, 58, having dated him from 1997 to 2004.
Brook, who has been married to French-Italian model Jeremy Parisi since 2022, said 'it was the best decision' to walk out on Statham when his acting career started to take off.
During a recent interview on How To Fail with Elizabeth Day, the model admitted that she 'fell out of love' after the pair moved out to America.

"In my first relationship there was definitely elements of co-dependency and there were elements of me putting my life and career on hold," she explained.
"I had a really good job at MTV, I was hosting a daily show there and I was there for about a year and my boyfriend at the time was an actor.
"He got offered a few roles in things and he had so much talent and charisma and I said we just need to go to America and thought it would be the making of us.
"I quit my job and we went and I was kind of there as a support network for him and watched his career flourish, whereas mine kind of floundered a bit because I didn’t have the same opportunities.
"And I was flying back and forth between the UK and LA, and it was quite taxing and expensive and exhausting."
Although Brook said it was 'the most incredible thing' when Statham started to become a Hollywood A-lister, she 'felt so neglected' in the process.
She ultimately 'fell out of love with him in the end because he didn’t show up for me, like the way I showed up for him'.
“We broke up and I think he just turned round to me and was like ‘why are you leaving now? I’m a movie star and a millionaire, why now?’ and I was like ‘you just haven’t been there for me and during this process I’ve become a woman and I don’t think you know who I am anymore’," Brook added.
“It was just a really hard time. It was the best decision.”
Ahead of entering the I'm A Celeb jungle, the British model told ITV that 'I didn’t think it was ever in me to do the challenges and Bushtucker Trials'.
"I’m such a fan of the show that I thought, ‘Maybe I could do it, maybe I could cope’.
"I won’t know unless I try and so I am going to throw myself into it."
