Kylie Jenner’s former private chef has filed a lawsuit against her claiming that her heavy workload contributed to her miscarriage.
The lawsuit claims the chef had a miscarriage in February last year after working ‘excessive hours, physically demanding tasks, and high-pressure events’.
Court documents, seen by The Los Angeles Times, claimed that the woman would regularly work 11 to 12 hour shifts, five days a week.
The filing also claims that the chef, who hasn’t been named, informed Jenner and her management team that she had a ‘high-risk pregnancy’ and had requested ‘reasonable accommodations to protect her health’, The Los Angeles Times reports.

In February 2025, the chef was five months pregnant and was working during an event in Palm Springs, California but claims she wasn’t provided with ‘adequate support’ after asking for help and expressing her concerns about the workload to her supervisors.

“Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event,” the lawsuit claims.
“That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”
According to the filing, the woman woke up the next day experiencing haemorrhaging and took herself to the emergency room where she was told she had ‘lost her unborn child’.
The suit claims that after losing her baby, the woman suffered with depression.
The chef’s attorney Della Shaker, told Los Angeles Times: “Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws.
"We look forward to presenting the evidence in court and allowing the facts to speak for themselves.”

The chef alleges that she was ‘wrongfully terminated’ from the job that spring.
She is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
Shaker told The Independent: "Given that the laws apply equally to everyone, regardless of wealth, influence, or public profile. Our client also deserves the same protections afforded to every employee in California."
The chef’s lawsuit is the latest Jenner faces, after two former housekeepers for the star filled separate suits against her earlier this year.
Jenner is yet to publicly comment on the suits.
LADbible has approached representatives for Jenner for comment on the claims.
