Liam Gallagher says he made big health change to save Oasis Tour from disaster as documentary hits Venice
It turns out what Liam Gallagher actually needed was to dump cigarettes and alcohol to make the Oasis reunion a roaring triumph.
The highly-anticipated documentary on the once unthinkable reconciliation between Liam and his brother, Noel Gallagher, premiered in Venice this weekend and one of the most startling revelations is that the Rock n Roll star ditched the booze and cigs in a major health change to ensure the tour went off without a hitch.
Liam, 53, said in Don't Look Back in Anger that the Oasis comeback tour was too 'precious' to derail with his wild partying antics of old.
After the brothers' bitter feud led to the UK's biggest rock band splitting up in 2009, the country was rocked by their eventual reunion in 2024, with a world tour of 41 gigs announced for the following year.

Doubts and anxiety remained over whether the Gallaghers would be able to put the past behind them to make it through the tour without getting at each other's throats, and the documentary shows there were arguments along the way.
But, as it turns out, the past was 'all forgiven without saying a word.'
From the moment they walked out hand in hand in Cardiff on July 4, Oasis' first gig in 16 years, in front of 75,000 euphoric fans, there has been no looking back (in anger or otherwise) since, with Liam doing everything in his power to make sure the reunion did not go awry.
"I’m not going to have one cigarette, one f_____g drink. It’s not going to happen," Liam says in the documentary, revealing regret over ruining gigs in the past when under the influence, as reported by The Sun.
He added that the tour was too '“f_____g precious” to ruin.
Reflecting on the 'very sad' death of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield, the legendary Stone Roses bassist and a close friend, in 2025, Liam said: “This is why everything is so f_____g precious.
“The penny has dropped. No more bulls___ anymore.”
Oasis to tour the UK again in 2027
Two years on from their remarkable reunion tour, Oasis will once again bless stages across the UK and Europe in 2027 in what is set to be another summer of rocking in the sunshine.
The band began posting teasers for the tour on social media last week and it's expected to be officially confirmed in the coming one.
The Sun reports they have seen a leaked schedule of the tour and, though the dates are provisional, it'll see Oasis kick things off in Glasgow, before returning to Manchester for a string of 10 shows, play several gigs across Europe and then close things off at Knebworth, the site of their iconic 1996 gigs that remain a British cultural cornerstone 30 years on.

Though the dates could still 'fluctuate' as some 'indicate venue holds, not concerts,' the following dates are reportedly where and when Oasis will be playing next year:
- Celtic Park, Glasgow - May 22, 23, 24, 26, 29
- Etihad Stadium, Manchester - June 4, 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, 20, 23, 26 and 27
- Stade de France, Paris - July 3 and 4
- Allianz Arena, Munich - July 10 and 11
- San Siro, Milan - July 17 and 18
- Stadio Olimpico, Rome - July 24 and 25
- Slane Castle, Co. Meath, Ireland - August 6, 7, 8, 11 and 14
- Knebworth, Hertfordshire - September 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19
The Sun adds that the Oasis band line-up in 2025 will be the same in 2027, with Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Joey Waronker and Christian Madden all returning.
