Liam Gallagher has issued a brutal, but very in-character response to the rumours that Oasis will be heading to Glastonbury in 2027.
Ever since the dust settled on the Gallagher brothers' successful 2025 reunion tour, there has been relentless speculation about whether or not the pair would hit the road together once again.
Despite the wishful thinking - 'Oasis are playing Knebworth', 'Oasis are headlining Glastonbury', 'Oasis are playing a 10-day residency at the Etihad Stadium' - the brothers have not confirmed any more shows.
However, that hasn't stopped Liam from taking every opportunity possible to wind up hopeful fans on social media.

Earlier today, fan page Oasis Mania tweeted that odds were currently at 4/1 for the Britpop legends to play on the Pyramid Stage next year, writing: "According to The Scotsman, Oasis are among the favourites to headline Glastonbury 2027, with odds of 4/1.
"Could we see them return to the Pyramid Stage?"
But you might hold on to your bucket hats, as Liam has shut down the rumours in the most Liam Gallagher way possible.
Replying to the tweet in his typical expletive-filled fashion, the 53-year-old informed the 'flag-waving, croc-wearing' people of Glastonbury that a show would not be happening.
Check out Liam's response in the tweet below:

While Liam is busy raining on the parade of everyone who wants to catch Oasis at Glastonbury, rumours of several shows taking place last year simply refuse to die.
According to a report published in The Mirror earlier this month, sources close to the band claimed Oasis were eyeing up a run of dates at Manchester City's stadium in June before heading back to Knebworth, the location of their iconic 1996 concerts, for a September 2027 show.
Full confirmation of the tour itself, as well as the dreaded ticket prices, is apparently arriving in the near future.
The reports coincided with claims that the promoter of the Oasis 2025 reunion tour had secured a licence to host a show at Knebworth, which can host over 250,000 fans, while the 2027 dates for Manchester's Parklife Festival have been moved from June to July.
Liam has even found time to weigh in on the rumours, responding to a report that Oasis were in talks for a 12-night residency at the Etihad by writing: "12 I thought it was 10 ffs."
Coincidence? Guess we'll find out soon.

Who is rumoured to play Glastonbury next year?
When it comes to the rumours of Oasis playing a Glastonbury set, Liam is either bluffing or the brothers really won't be making an appearance at Worthy Farm, as Emily Eavis recently confirmed that all headliners for the 2027 festival have been booked.
While the festival organiser refused to give away any clues about who would be taking to the Pyramid Stage, she did confirm that pop legend Madonna would not be on the bill.
"It's definitely not Madonna, I'll tell you that," Eavis recently told BBC Radio 4's PM programme.
As for the favourites topping bookies' lists, this includes Harry Styles, Sam Fender, Olivia Dean and Taylor Swift.
