After making a name for himself by playing the adorable Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, Brandon 'Bug' Hall is now turning to his fans for help after previously taking a 'vow of poverty'.
Bug is someone I think we can all remember from the 1994 family film, which saw a cast of kids battle it out for the chance to win a grand race – and love.
But while the film was wholesome, life after Hollywood was not.
In the decades since his Rascals days, Bug was arrested nearly six years ago for allegedly huffing air duster cans, and also lives off-grid with his family as ‘a radical Catholic extremist’.

He previously revealed on YouTube that he gave away all of his earnings from child acting and said the Lord would provide for him.

He said he had even declined offers for a GoFundMe after being evicted from his farm before the Daily Mail reported that he and his family later moved to an 80-acre plot near the town of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
However, now he appears to have changed his mind about the importance of money.
The former child star has since shared in a GoFundMe fundraiser where he wrote that he is in need of money for bills.
"It's now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these in all that time. I always said this was my choice, and so I didn't want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well here we are," he wrote. "We've made it onto the new land in record time, but I'm a few materials short of having things working right, and I've fallen a little behind on the few bills we have (phone, propane for the camper, and an unexpected electric hookup service fee)."
He added of the move: "We're all overjoyed to be where we are, and we're even enjoying roughing it, but baby six is less than a month away, and I really need some help getting the last few things buttoned up beforehand."
He went on to explain that his 'hope is to finalize everything here over the next two weeks so I can take some work until the baby arrives.'

He added: "Times are hard for everyone, and I'm no more deserving than anyone else, but I ask in your charity that you help where you can, whether monetarily, by sharing this, or by prayer and sacrifice for the Hall-Barnetts of the Holy Cross."
The fundraiser comes just months after he was again arrested, but this time in Ohio, where he was charged with failing to appear in court for his December 2024 hearing related to a citation in October 2024 traffic citation for not having liability insurance.
The 41-year-old was later released.
