Mark Wright has apologised for a social media post that attracted criticism in the wake of the Air India plane crash which resulted in the deaths of 241 people on board and more on the ground.
The Only Way Is Essex star had uploaded a photo of himself, wife Michelle Keegan and their daughter in front of a private jet with the caption: "One day babe, for now we’ll take row 26 with no extra leg room."
The post came the same day as the tragic Air India plane crash where Flight AI171 heading from Ahmedabad to Gatwick crashed shortly after taking off and impacted a residential building.

One passenger survived the crash and emergency services have been working to recover bodies while an investigation will attempt to determine what went wrong to cause the first ever Boeing 787 crash.
When Wright was called out for the post he quickly deleted it and explained that it had been a scheduled post that had been made last week and it was just 'horrendous coincidence' that it went out on the same day as the plane crash.

In his message he explained that once he realised what had happened with the scheduled post going out he deleted it right away.
"My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected from today. I'm sorry for this mistake and any offence caused." he said of the tragic plane crash.

Another celebrity who apologised for their social media activity was McFly singer Tom Fletcher, who posted to Instagram about boarding a flight a few hours after the Air India crash.
He soon deleted it and offered an apology.
Fletcher said: “Sorry, I’ve only just seen the terrible news about the Air India crash. So awful.
"Had I known earlier, I obviously wouldn’t have posted about my flight today. I understand why that must have looked insensitive and have deleted it."

According to the Evening Standard, the pilot on board the Air India flight warned the plane was 'losing power' moments before the crash.
In the plane's final moments Sumeet Sabharwal said the aircraft had 'no thrust' and was 'unable to lift', while he and his co-pilot Clive Kundar said 'Mayday' just before the plane collided with a building.
40-year-old Vishwash Kumar Ramesh appears to be the only survivor from the 242 souls on board the plane, and the British national's family spoke out from their home in Leicester.
They said: "We were just shocked as soon as we heard it. I last spoke to him yesterday morning. We’re devastated, just devastated.
"He said I have no idea how I exited the plane."
