Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have given a rare glimpse into their lives in a new interview.

In the not too distant past the Olsen twins were everywhere. As successful child actors and fashion icons, Mary-Kate and Ashley found success in US sitcom Full House before going on to be the stars of their own series of spin-off shows and movies.

In-fact, the twins were so popular at one point they had their own series of 'Mary-Kate and Ashley' dolls and merchandise.

However Hollywood moves quickly and the twins, now 38, have since faded into obscurity, with their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen later eclipsing their popularity through her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The lack of updates about the sisters in the past few years has since led fans to speculate about their whereabouts, with one fan writing on social media: "Would love for Mary Kate and Ashley to pop out again. It’s time."

"Baby, where are Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen?! I used to look forward to seeing them at the Met Gala. It’s been a few years now," a second person wrote on Twitter, while a third responded to Elizabeth's movie His Three Daughters with Natasha Lyonne and Carrie Coon making its Netflix debut by writing: "Where are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen?"

However fans need not worry, as the sisters have since given rare insight into their lives during an interview about their successful fashion brand.

For anyone who doesn't know, the twins are behind luxury brand The Row - which sells elevated basics - having launched the label 2006.

The brand has seen Mary-Kate and Ashley successfully move into the high-fashion world, with The Row recently appearing at Paris Fashion Week and even opening a store in the French capital.

Calling the new store a dream come true in an interview with Vogue, the sisters said: "We've been looking for years.

"We wanted to be in Paris before we opened in London, but we didn’t find anything here first. Then, 18 months ago, a friend told us about this place."

However when it comes to their personal lives, the twins remained tight lipped as always.

Little is known about Mary-Kate's romantic life since her 2021 divorce from Olivier Sarkozy, however she is currently reported to be dating art dealer PC Valmorbida.

Meanwhile Ashley has been in a relationship with Louis Eisner since 2022, with the pair welcoming their first child together in August 2023.

Explaining why they shy away from the limelight in an interview with i-D magazine in 2021, Mary-Kate said: "We were raised discreet people... That's how we were raised."
