
Actress Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban have parted ways after nearly two decades of marriage, according to reports.
News of the couple's split first broke yesterday (29 September), with multiple outlets reporting that the pair have been living apart 'since the beginning of summer'.
It has been claimed that country music star Urban, 57, has moved out of the family home and is living in another pad in Nashville, according to TMZ.
The publication also reported that Kidman, 58, 'did not want' the separation and 'has been trying to save the marriage' - sparking speculation among fans about what led to their split the BBC confirmed.

Sources told the Daily Mail that their hectic schedules and a lack of intimacy are the main reasons behind the separation.
"Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour," one claimed. "There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce.
"They been together for decades so there is a world which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, they are not a couple."

The A-list Aussies - who share children Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 - have been married since June 2006.

They got hitched in Sydney a year after meeting at the G'Day USA gala in Los Angeles, where they exchanged numbers.
Kidman previously described Urban as the 'love of her life' after he turned up at her apartment at 5am in the morning on her 38th birthday with a bunch of flowers.
Reciting the romantic moment to People in 2019, the Babygirl actress said: "That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry.'"
Four months after their nuptials, Kidman staged an intervention for her new husband as he struggled with alcohol abuse.
Urban later said he was 'very, very blessed' that his Oscar-winning wife had stepped in and said it had ultimately strengthened their relationship.

During an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010, he explained: "Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together.
"I look back now and realise Nic has taught me so much and brought so much into my life and opened my eyes in so many ways. [This is] the best place I've ever been."
Kidman recently wrapped up filming in London for the rom-com Practical Magic 2, while Urban has been on the road for his High and Alive World Tour since May.
Her final Instagram post with her husband came on their 19th wedding anniversary back in June, as the mum shared a snap of them smiling and embracing alongside the caption: "Happy Anniversary Baby."

Earlier this year, Urban abruptly ended an interview after being asked a question about his wife's sex scenes in A Family Affair, a Netflix film which she starred in alongside Zac Efron.
