Nicole Kidman sparks debate after seemingly pushing Salma Hayek at Paris Fashion Week

A video is circulating online showing actresses Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek seemingly clashing during Paris fashion week.

The video, which has been circulating on various social media platforms, shows House of Gucci star Hayek posing for photos with singer Katy Perry and The Perfect Couple actress during a Balenciaga show in the French capital.

In the clip, we see Kidman make an attempt to leave, leading Hayek to put her arm around the Big Little Lies star and appears to turn her back towards the cameras as the photographer asks for 'one more' photo of the trio.

However, Kidman appears to be uncomfortable with the situation, brushing away Hayak's hand and walked away.

It's unclear exactly what Kidman said to Hayek in the exchange, however, the Mexican actress can later be heard in the clip saying: "Yes please - advice," to which someone off camera, seemingly Kidman, responds "You don't need it."

"I do." Hayek replies.

The clip has naturally sparked debate as it does the rounds on social media, with several people speculating whether or not to the two actresses dislike each other. However, it is important to note the clip only shows a couple of seconds of their interaction, with footage from another angle showing the pair embracing for the cameras just moments prior.

Shared in response to one user claiming that Kidman was telling Hayek to 'stop touching' her, the extended clip shows the pair and Perry posing for another photographer before the second cameraman asks them to turn around and pose for him.

It's at this moment where Kidman appears to have enough of the cameras and says goodbye to Hayek and Perry before making an exit from the situation.

So, it might be worth putting the pitchforks away on this occasion.

Hayek would later take to Instagram to suggest that all is well between the pair, posting a series of images from the night, including one of herself with Kidman and captioning the carousel: "Finally last night the grand finale of my Paris Fashion Week 2025… Balenciaga and Demna for a terrific show."

Meanwhile, Kidman has recently confirmed the death of her mother,

Janelle Ann Kidman, who passed away last month. The actress has since thanked her fans for the 'outpouring of love and kindness' on Instagram, adding: "Thank you from our whole family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other."
