Nicole Scherzinger shares photos of horrific burns she suffered one hour before Pussycat Dolls concert

The Pussycat Dolls are currently touring Europe with PCD forever. Well, three of the original ones anyway – Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt.

But just an hour before she was set to go on stage, Scherzinger suffered some horrific burns.

The former X Factor judge took to Instagram Stories on Sunday (27 September) to reveal she had accidentally burned her leg with boiling water.

This apparently happened right before the band were due to perform in Düsseldorf, Germany, as Scherzinger followed the famous showbiz saying, ‘the show must go on’.

The 48-year-old has now shared this evening an updated photo of her burns that seems to cover a large portion of her leg as she says it’s ‘healing up’ and shouted out their medical team.

Originally sharing a snap of blistering, red burns that stretch from her calf up to above her knee, Scherzinger wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set - But the show must go on.

“Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going. See you soon Amsterdam.”

This evening, she shared a new photo of the burns, showing the bright red blistering had gone down with the burns still very, very visible across the back of her leg with what looks to be some blood at the front.

“Not the prettiest sight,” the ‘Don’t Cha’ singer wrote on Instagram Stories, “but healing up!”

She then followed up with a picture in her makeup chair posing with her medical team as they appeared to be treating her leg.

“Thanks to my PCD medics,” Scherzinger wrote on the pic.

The PCD Forever Tour started in California on 6 June this year and is set to come to an end on 30 October.

Celebrating 20 years of the Pussycat Dolls, it’s supported by Déjà vu and Lil’ Kim.

Just a month before it was scheduled to start, a whopping 33 dates of the North American were cancelled with poor ticket sales to blame.

But fans have been loving the tour and the Scherzinger is clearly dedicated to entertaining them – boiling water burns and all.
