Paris Fury has spoken about how she really feels about her daughter Venezuela getting married at the age of 16.

Venezuela tied the knot on Saturday (16 May) in a lavish ceremony on the Isle of Man. The eldest of Tyson and Paris Fury’s five kids, the 16-year-old married 19-year-old amateur boxer Noah Price in front of a crowd of family and friends.

Walking down the aisle, Venezuela wore crocs on her feet and sunglasses as Biggie Smalls could be heard playing out in the church.

The eldest Fury first announced her engagement last year, and viewers of the Netflix show, At Home With The Furys watched as a nervous Noah could be seen asking dad Tyson Fury for permission to marry his daughter, before proposing to her at her 16th birthday party.

Appearing on Jamie Laing's podcast, In Great Company, Paris explained how she truly feels about her daughter's nuptials at such a young age.

She told the Made in Chelsea star: "Venezuela is ridiculously young even in gypsy standards, but Venezuela has always been a woman, she's always been the oldest of all these kids, she's always been very confident in herself, and she has met the person she wants to be with and she's got a lot of flack about it, people saying why would you want to get married so young... if she moved in and lived with this person, no-one would bat an eyelid, it wouldn't be a problem, but the fact that she wants to get married which to me is a celebration of their relationship, it's beautiful.

"And she is happy, he is happy and they want to commit to each other that way... what am I going to do, turn around to her and say no? She's going to do it anyway... me and Tyson have been married 20 years, we're overly happy."

Paris also spoke about her own experience of being engaged at 17, explaining on This Morning: "Venezuela is so mature for her years. She's done so much in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she's got six younger brothers and sisters that she's helped bring up, I can't deny it.

"I can't deny her because I was 17 when I got engaged. She's obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way? I know she's young. But I think she's found the person she loves and if she's happy, I will completely support her."
