It’s not exactly much of a Pete Davidson set if it doesn’t feature his usual unfiltered sense of humour.
And recently, that’s seen him recalling a pretty awkward childhood memory involving him, his grandad, and gay porn.
I mean, the adult industry seems to be an occasional go-to for the 32-year-old, having been called out last month for comments about watching it now that he’s a dad himself.
Davidson recently returned to the stage as a comedian after he and girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, welcomed their first child together, Scottie Rose.

So, who knows, perhaps it’s that making him recall some bizarre memories from his own childhood.
This one takes him back to when he was eight years old and his grandad caught him watching a graphic adult video.

In a video clip obtained by TMZ, Davidson was performing a stand-up set when he explained he accidentally clicked on the video and carried on watching out of curiosity.
“I clicked it and it was horrible. It's a video of six 70-year-old men, white guys, blowing each other to the Andy Griffith theme song,” he said, whistling the theme song for extra emphasis.
“I watched the whole thing ‘cos I was eight, and I was like, ‘What happens?’”
But he heard his grandad coming down the stairs after being out, causing the young Davidson to ‘freak out’.
“I shut off the screen and I turn off the volume. But like an idiot, I just sat there,” the comedian recalled.
“He gets downstairs. He goes, ‘What are you watching?’ I go, ‘Nothing.’
“He goes, ‘Come on. Is it our favourite girl?’ I go, ‘That's gross.’ ‘Cuz your favourite girl should be grandma.’”
And during some back-and-forth about showing the screen, Davidson tried to warn his grandad as he said it looked like ‘the worst night at the Knights of Columbus, ever’.

That’s the Catholic Fraternal Organisation (a men’s group) that his grandad had just gotten home from.
“He grabs my neck and he squeezes it,” Davidson continued. “He goes, ‘Turn on the f**king screen.’ So I turn it on and, like an idiot I turn the volume on, too—I don't know why, I guess I wanted him to have the full experience.
“I remember how much he saw by the part of the song. This is the only part he saw: it went [whistles briefly], and then he punched a screen, and he broke my computer.”
According to the comedian, his granddad then simply turned away and said: “Peter, we are never to speak of this.”
While it's not clear if this is the same grandparent, Davidson has previously made claims about being abused by his mum's father.
