Princess and Junior reveal 'shocking' way they found out about Katie Price's engagement

Katie Price's children Princess and Junior have talked about the way they learned their mum got engaged to someone after only knowing him for a short time.

It was the ninth time she got engaged and her fourth wedding as she appeared to tie the knot with businessman Lee Andrews just a few weeks after announcing her split from previous partner JJ Slater.

The wedding in Dubai all seemed to happen very quickly and while the man who performed it later said it was not legally binding it's possible they have done all of the legal stuff in a less flashy setting.

Wedding celebrant Darryl Rees said Price and Andrews 'got engaged on the Friday and two days later, I'm standing in front of them, marrying the couple'.

If it was a whirlwind for those two then one can only imagine what a barrage of family updates it was for Price's children, and The Sun reports that on the reality show The Princess Diaries her kids Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, have talked about how they found out.

It turns out they found out their mum was engaged to a man they didn't even know thanks to a message on the family group chat.

Princess said: "The message Mum sent on the group chat about being engaged…. I literally responded 'OMG',"

"Mum's very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level, I don't know anything about him and all I know is he proposed to my mum after knowing her a week."

Junior also registered his confusion at the sudden family development as he said it was 'shocking' to learn his mum had got engaged to a stranger.

"I put, 'I'm so confused. What a bombshell.' At this point, I don't know what to think, she's flipping married him," he said.

"I don't know the guy, so it's shocking, of course it is, it is weird." If anyone's mum got engaged to someone that you don't know, you're going to be like 'What the hell?'

"I would have liked to know what's been going on, what's it leading up to, but everyone lives their lives and has their own thing."

He went on to say his mum was 'great' and all he hopes for from her new marriage is that the new bloke treats her right.

The newlyweds are actually apart at the moment as Price is in the UK and Andrews is in Dubai, which if you've been watching the news is not the safest place in the world at the moment.

However, while some people are asking the UK government to evacuate them from the region, Andrews said if his wife showed up in the Middle East to join him there while everyone else was going the other way he'd 'go to Oman and pick her up and bring her home'.
