Foreign Office issues statement after Katie Price's husband declared 'missing person'
The Foreign Office has issued a statement after Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews was declared missing.
The former glamour model said she last heard from her new husband at around 10pm on Wednesday 13 May and that neither she nor his family has been able to contact him since.
In a video shared to her YouTube channel, Price said she feared her husband may have been ‘kidnapped’ and that she had been in contact with the ‘head of CID in Dubai’ who was attempting to track down the 43-year-old.
“We are now wondering, as far-fetched as it is, that he's a missing person now, I don't know if he's been kidnapped,” she said in the clip, which she shared on Saturday (16 May).

Andrews’ family filed an official missing person’s report with the British Embassy in Dubai.
Now, a Foreign Office spokesperson has released a statement.
"We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities,” the spokesperson told The Mirror.
The story kicked off after Andrews was set to fly from his home in Dubai to the UK for an appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain last Tuesday (12 May).
However, Andrews didn’t board the flight, leaving Price to do the interview solo.
Price was left unimpressed by the no-show, revealing on her podcast that her husband of four months had left looking like a ‘massive d**k’.
The following day, Price shared a post to Instagram announcing that Andrews would be ‘taking a break’ from social media.
But over the weekend, she made the bombshell claim that Andrews was actually missing and that she feared he might have been taken against his will.
“The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10pm, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me,” she shared.
“Lee was trying to get through the border at Hatta, this is so discombobulating, his location went off at 10.03pm on Wednesday night, that's the last contact anyone has had – his family and myself.”
Price continued: “We are wondering if he's been kidnapped, he's definitely a missing person now.
“I'm wondering if he's been kidnapped because he was by the border. The unsettling thing for me, the last time I heard from him, he FaceTimed me, he had a hood on and said, ‘I've just been captured or arrested’ and had ties around his hand, not handcuffs, and said ‘they're coming back for me’.”
