Rebekah Vardy says 'hell will freeze over' before she apologises to former friend Coleen Rooney over the 'Wagatha Christie’ saga.
In 2019, Coleen left jaws on the floor when she made the infamous 'It's............ Rebekah Vardy's account' post, accusing the wife of former Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy of leaking stories about her to The Sun.
Rebekah has continuously denied the allegations made against her, suing Coleen for libel in 2020. The judge ruled in favour of Coleen, with the 44-year-old being ordered to cover both of their legal costs, reportedly totalling £1.5 million.
Four years on from the case, and it appears there is still no love lost between the former friends, as Vardy recently told The Telegraph that 'hell will freeze over' before she reaches out to Rooney.

"People constantly go, ‘Well, it’s not going to change anything unless you apologise’ — but I’m not apologising for something I didn’t do," she told the outlet.
"I’m never, ever, going to apologise for something I didn’t do... Hell will freeze over before I do that.
"It’s over, it’s done, I’m not going to carry on living in the past. I’m so f***ing bored of it."
Going on to admit that she'd made 'peace' with the final ruling and doesn't hold a grudge towards Rooney, the mother-of-five added that she does not agree with the judgment made.
"I’m living with the judgment the judge made but, still to this day, I believe she was wrong," she added.
The couple are currently the stars of an upcoming reality series, ITV's The Vardys, which follows Jamie's move from Leicester to Italian side Cremonese.
Jamie also defended his wife during the interview, saying she was not the 'villain' many believed her to be.
"People thinking that Bex was a villain, it’s just a load of s***, but everyone close to her knows. That’s all she needs," he said.
He added: "Becky’s a strong woman. If she wasn’t, it would definitely have broken her."

What was the 'Wagatha Christie’ case about?
In October 2019, Coleen, wife of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, shared a lengthy statement on X, saying that someone close to her had been leaking info shared on private stories to The Sun, saying: "There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family – all without my permission or knowledge."
The 40-year-old went on to state that she narrowed the suspects down to one account and shared false snippets of information to see if they'd end up in the press, which she claims happened.
Coleen then accused Vardy's account of being the culprit, which she denied.
"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for," Vardy said at the time, noting that various people had access to her Instagram account.
"I’m disgusted that I’m even having to deny this. You should have called me the first time this happened."
