A woman has opened up about how rapper Post Malone changed her life after he generously tipped her.

There’s just something about the holiday spirit that makes people become more likely to give to those with less.

Or maybe the musician was feeling extra generous on Christmas Eve and wanted to make the bartender’s night.

Whatever the case, he definitely made a difference when he met Renee Brown.

At the time, Brown was working at The Railyard in Houston, Texas when he decided to tip her an amazing amount of cash.

Now, we all know that the US is quite strict about its tipping, but this took it to the next level.

That’s because he decided to tip the single mother a staggering $20,000.

The 29-year-old was one day from appearing alongside Beyoncé’s Christmas Day halftime show at the Texans-Ravens game at NRG Stadium.

When he took to the stage, the pair went on to perform their song 'LEVII'S JEANS', and while there has been some controversy surrounding the performance, you can’t say it wasn’t fantastic.

To celebrate, Post wrote on Twitter: “Thank you @Beyonce so much for havin me out in Houston, and on your beautiful record. Also, thank you for sharin your talent and art with the world. I love you.”

While he was riding the high of his show appearance, Brown's life just got a little bit better.

She told Music Mayhem in an interview that she was struggling that night after having to leave her nine-year-old daughter while she worked on the special day.

But in the end, she believes she was there for a reason.

She said: “Going into work Christmas Eve, I was so sad I had to leave my baby girl to go to work. Oblivious that God would send me a Christmas miracle.

“This is hands down the most humble, personable celebrity I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He changed my life on Christmas f***ing Eve, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Austin.”

For those of you who are confused, Post Malone was born Austin Richard Post, hence her use of his first name.

As for what she’s planning on using the money for, it’s all towards her and her daughter’s future.

She said she will use it to put herself in a better financial position, explaining: “This put me in a position to at least be able to get a way back and forth to work and pay up on rent and save a bit. I’m trying to save up to start a business, so I don’t have to continue working two jobs and be able to spend more time with my daughter.

"Things have been extremely difficult, and this was truly a blessing that I can’t fully put into words. The visit alone was absolutely amazing and something I could talk about and remember for the rest of my life.”
