Seth Rogen revealed why he smokes weed ‘all day every single day’
For as long as Seth Rogen has been a household name the comedian has been known for his connection to one hobby. Smoking marijuana.
The celebrity has written many of his characters to partake in it and he has been very open about the fact that he smokes every single day.
Since he was 20, Rogen has said that he has only not smoked on three days ever, on a trip to Singapore where he decided against risking the serious legal penalties.
Rogen, whose new show Platonic will release another season this week, himself owns a marijuana company in California, where it is legal.

He has spoken in the past about why he smokes so much of the drug, explaining why he does it ‘all day every single day’.
The Superbad and Pineapple Express star spoke about this during his appearance on The Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett in 2023.
When asked about how he’d previously said he was not ‘cut out for this world but that weed makes it OK’, he responded: “Yeah, for sure. I smoke weed all day, so I would imagine it would be worse if I didn’t.”
He went on to say: “Yes, I smoke weed all day, every single day, since I was 20 years old maybe. I’ve been very productive in that time.”
Rogen compared smoking weed to needing to wear shoes or glasses, saying: “Are shoes like a crutch we use, or are they a thing that we have culturally decided make our lives easier and better? That is exactly how weed is to me.”
The comedian stated that, whilst he could probably make it through life without the recreational drugs, it would be a ‘pain in the a**’.
He later said: “That is part of my premise, no human is quite cut out for this world.
“Everyone has things they use to make their lives liveable… and for me, weed is one of those things, like a roof is one of those things.”
The actor and writer has stated that he believes he has a far higher tolerance than the average person, saying in an interview with The Guardian: “For sure I process it differently than other people do.
“I’ve been at parties with people and we’ll share a joint, and I’ll be fine and go about my day, and they’ll enter, like, a new dark period for three months.
“Years will go by and then I’ll run into them at a party and they’ll be, like, ‘The last time I saw you was the last time I smoked weed, and it was terrible.’
“I’m not physically gifted in many ways, but there’s one way in which I am, which is in my ability to process weed.”
It's no coincidence that he plays a weed aficionado in Platonic, which he stars in alongside Rose Byrne.
The pair star as a platonic pair of friends who rekindle after Rogen’s character goes through a divorce.
