Girl McLovin sleeps with in Superbad quit acting to live very different life
She starred in the iconic film as Nicola but hasn't acted in anything for over a decade
After appearing in a beloved and iconic film such as Superbad you can understand the desire to want to go on and use that fame to become one of the biggest actors in Hollywood.
Whilst names like Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, and Michael Cera did exactly that off the back of Superbad, others who starred in the film went on to live different lives.
Other members of the cast like Bill Hader have found critical success with his TV show Barry and Christopher Mintz-Plasse may not be a household name but he has appeared in a number of successful films since Superbad.
Aviva Baumann, who plays Nicola - the girl who sleeps with Mintz-Plasse’s McLovin in the film - has left acting behind altogether.

Nicola was the girl who was creepily discussed by McLovin at the start of the film and surprisingly ends up drunkenly sleeping with him at the party, in a moment which is best left in 2007.
Superbad was her breakthrough role after appearing in one-off TV episodes prior to the film
Baumann starred in a 2005 episode of Malcolm in the Middle and various small parts in films and shows as a child actor.
Off the back of Superbad, she got a fairly prominent role in a single episode of Criminal Minds and appeared in a couple of episodes of NCIS, but the state of her IMDb page after this goes downhill fairly quickly.
Her last project was all the way back in 2013, when she starred in a show called Pop Up as one half of the ‘Blah Blah Twins’, and since then she has totally retreated from the limelight.

Baumann has posted on Instagram and she no longer works in acting but actually works in remodelling homes.
Her role in Superbad is iconic, and she has a fairly scene stealing performance in it but, going off of her social media, it seems like a very nice life to be living.
Buamann posted back in 2022 about finally getting her New Mexico contractor’s license to start up Wildflower Construction.
The now 41-year-old former actor still gets regular comments with GIFs of McLovin but hasn’t posted on Instagram since late 2024.
Her construction company’s Instagram, Wildflower, shows her continuing to work in construction in Santa Fe.
If her entire film career had ended up just being Superbad though, you’d argue it was a success, no matter what she does now.
Superbad is available to stream on Hulu in the United States and is available to rent on the Apple TV+ store in the UK.
