Taylor Lautner and Taylor Lautner make cryptic post as they announce pregnancy

Taylor Lautner has officially announced that he is expecting his first child with, well, Taylor Lautner.

The Twilight star may best be known for portraying werewolf Jacob Black in the film franchise which had a chokehold on the late 2000s, but he has long moved on from that role.

Now 34, Lautner took to Instagram alongside his wife to announce that they were expecting their first child together in a very wholesome post.

The gallery of four snaps would likely have been enough to bring the biggest die-hard Twilight fans to tears, as the couple could be seen smiling while frolicking in a scenic field.

They held up a sonogram of their upcoming addition to the family too, as actor Taylor could also be seen kissing his wife's belly in one of the pictures.

But a closer look at the caption they choose to put up on social media has been perceived as cryptic by many.

It could be a hint at their child's first name, as the happy couple wrote: "What's better than two Taylor Lautners?"

The couple, who have been married since 2022, may be playing a joke on fans, but there is the slim chance that the world will be welcoming a third Taylor Lautner, all in the same family, at some point in the future.

Topping off the heartwarming post was a black and white snap, where the couple were laughing in yet another dose of love.

Celebrities quickly took to the comments to give their congratulations, as some of Lautner's former Twilight castmates could be found wishing the couple the best.

Kellan Lutz, who played Emmett Cullen in the movies, wrote: Congrats brother! It's the best!"

Nikki Reed, who was Rosalie Hale in the saga, said: " Oh my goodness, heart bursting. I love you guys. I can't wait to watch your journey as parents unfold…"

Mackenzie Foy, best remembered as Renesmee Cullen, simply said: "Congratulations," with a star emoji.

Alex Cooper, host of the Call her Daddy podcast, commented: "SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!!!!"

In the past, Taylor Lautner (née Dome) admitted that she was actually Team Edward back in the day, in a 2025 profile with Cosmopolitan.

The registered nurse admitted: "I was too young for Jacob’s abs."

"Yeah, when I was walking around in my little booty jean shorts and ripping my shirt off and my abs were on big screens, she’s 11 years old, throwing a ‘Twilight’ birthday party," the actor behind Jacob admitted.
