It can be quite daunting getting to know the in-laws.
But everyone is probably wishing their partner's brother was Jason Kelce right now.
The NFL star, who won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles has been partying it up with Taylor Swift and fellow Kelce family members as they cheered on his brother, Travis Kelce, and his Kansas City Chiefs team mates.

The Chiefs are now just one game away from another Super Bowl, with the Kelce family suite well and truly alive during their Sunday night victory over the Buffalo Bills.
At the middle of everything fun was big brother Travis.
Despite the sub-zero weather, the American footballer went topless while sporting his wooly hat.
He even jumped into the crowd and chugged beers surrounded by Bills fans.
And despite the close game and thousands of Bills fans were left disappointed with the result, smiles were across every face as he entertained onlookers in his own very unique way.
Among them was one very young Taylor Swift fan called Ella, who had come to the game with a T-Swizzle sign in hand.
Jason, a dad to three young girls himself, used the moment to take Ella right up to the family suite and show Taylor the sign.
It's a heartwarming moment, as you can see below:
Ella, aged eight, alongside her mum Jessica, told News 10: "I’ve been a fan since I was about five.
"I like her personality and how she sings and when I heard that she was going to the Bills game I thought, ‘yeah!’.
"Buffalo Bills plus Taylor Swift equals best first game ever!
"Jason drank his beer and then he opened up the window, he climbed out of the suite and gave the girl next to us a photo and then he said 'Let’s show Taylor this sign'.
"Taylor like smiled, she was so happy and she did like this with her hand [excitedly waved]."
One fan said: "Jason Kelce is a dad first. Football player second. Made that little ladies day."
Another said: "I’m English, I know NOTHING about American football, but thank God Taylor Swift introduced us to the Kelce brothers!"
A third wrote: "You know the dad at the BBQ thats had a few too many, but stops the toddler from running into the grill? That's Jason Kelce."
Similar scenes can be expected in the next two weeks if Travis and the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens to get to another Super Bowl.
