Taylor Swift has revealed the ‘most insane question’ she left Travis Kelce speechless with on their first date.
The singer seems to have dialled up the spotlight on herself again after confirming her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.
But rather than her typical, more curated, teases and cryptic posts, the star instead announced her 12th studio album on her boyfriend’s podcast with his brother.
Travis and Jason Kelce had the world watching and listening after revealing Swift would be a guest on their New Heights show yesterday (13 August).

And as well as making the big music announcement with a whole cover art, release date, and track list reveal, the 'Love Story' singer had a bit more of a gab with the American footballers as her boyfriend has made her more of a fan of the sport.
The pair went public with their relationship back in October 2023, as they were spotted hand in hand in New York City.
Then, as we know 'All Too Well', Swift has been seen at a whole load of Travis’s games for the Kansas City Chiefs, including, of course, the Super Bowl.
But before they were dating, the ‘Shake It Off’ singer didn’t quite know as much about the game.
“You aren’t judgmental that I knew nothing about the world you’re in,” she added on the podcast. “On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and he looked across the line of scrimmage and saw his brother standing five feet away from him.”
And this left Travis apparently speechless because (if you know anything about the sport) this would literally be impossible.
With Jason playing for the Philadelphia Eagles before he retired in 2024, both brothers played offensive positions. So, this means the pair wouldn’t actually be on the field at the same time.
But you know, I feel like her point still stands on the idea of how weird it would be to be facing your brother’s team in such a big match.
Laughing away, Swift continued: “He didn’t even look at me.
“I now know what an insane question that was… I thought everyone was out there at the same time… I didn’t know what a first down was… what a tight end was… I fell in love with it, I became obsessed with it.”
The singer added that she had become ‘obsessed with sports’ because of Travis.
And yet it seems every other person on social media is obsessed with her, as the news of her music is back to being the only thing everyone’s talking about.

How Taylor and Travis met
As well as opening up about their first date, the couple also spoke about how they came to meet each other. In 2023, Travis expressed his desire to meet Taylor at one of her concerts to give her a friendship bracelet—a commonplace practice amongst Swifites.
Now, the musician offered her thoughts on his gesture, saying: "It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I want to date you’."
However, she added that he 'never did any proper logistical planning' to meet her, adding: "[He thought] because he knows the elevator lady, that he could talk to her about just getting down to my dressing room. That’s how it works in 1973!"
But she said it was the stuff she'd 'been writing songs about, wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager'.
"It was wild, but it worked... He's the good kind of crazy," she said.
Poking fun at male sports fans
Taylor also addressed the male sports fans watching the brothers' podcast, as she said: "As we all know, you know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast.
"I think we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want in their spaces and on their screens, it's more of me."
Many listeners believed this was a reference to the times she'd been booed whenever she was shown on screen at Travis' games, such as the Super Bowl.
