Tom Hardy's incredible 27-item rider revealed after it was accidentally sent to the wrong person

Tom Hardy is said to request a string of snacks, a lavender diffuser and dog poop bags, among other things

Have you ever wondered what things Tom Hardy relies upon to get himself through the working day?

Well, wonder no more - as his rider, which consisted of 27 items, was accidentally leaked last year, according to reports.

For those who don't know, a rider is a document which musicians, actors and other performers use to lay out their requirements ahead of their gig.

These often include the star's favourite snacks and drinks, as well as essential items they might need on set to get the job done.

According to Pytch, a live event production company in the UK, these lists are sent over by the artist or their management team to ensure everything is 'set up and executed in a way that meets their expectations'.

The firm explained that although people often presume riders have to be 'taken as gospel', there is usually some wriggle room if the requests get ridiculous.

Famous faces have also been known to take this industry perk to the extremes - such as George Clooney, who supposedly once had a beach hut and hot tub installed next to his trailer.

Pytch also point out that Madonna's rider is 'known for being quite extensive', as the firm claims she often asks for white drapes and flowers in her dressing room, specific foods and a detailed stage and lighting set-up.

But in comparison to these two, Hardy, 47, is a lot more low maintenance, if his alleged rider is actually real - although it would still cost a fair few quid to fulfil his demands.

It is said to consist of a string of some beloved British snacks, a lavender diffuser and dog poop bags, among other things - such as 60 vapes.

The lengthy list of the Venom star's must haves was accidentally sent to the wrong person in October last year, The Sun reported.

According to the publication, the actor's rider was supposed to have been sent to producer and production manager Peter Heslop.

He's the guy behind films such as The King's Speech, The Imitation Game, and AppleTV+ series Hijack, while he worked directly with Hardy on 2002's Deserter too.

But instead of the rider landing in this Peter Heslop's inbox, it reportedly got sent to Pete Heslop instead - who is a 31-year-old IT worker from London.

Poor Pete said this wasn't the first time this merry mix-up has happened either, as he claims he's received 50 similar messages in the space of five years, despite him pointing out they've got the wrong guy.

Still, at least he got some insight into what Hardy likes to have on standby when he's on set.

Without further ado, here's some of the items the actor reportedly has on his rider:

  • 60 strawberry ice-cream vapes
  • IV drip
  • Lavender diffuser
  • Dog poop bags
  • Dog bowl
  • Xbox Series X
  • Printer
  • Bose speaker
  • Kettle
  • Toaster
  • Tomato and chicken soup
  • Coffee maker
  • Low-alcohol lager
  • Galaxy chocolate
  • Highlighter pens
  • Jiu-Jitsu mats
