Tom Holland has spoken out about his radical plans away from playing Spider-Man in the MCU and it has nothing whatsoever to do with film.
The actor has recently commenced work on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, his fourth Spider-Man solo film in the MCU and his seventh overall appearance.
This puts him well clear in cinematic Spider-Men and means that Tom Holland will have been playing the character for over a decade when the movie comes out next year.
Finally, however, his career appears to be taking off outside the MCU after a few missteps.

In addition to being cast in the upcoming Christopher Nolan film, The Odyssey, the actor is the star of a new major campaign led by LEGO.

Called Never Stop Playing, the LEGO campaign focuses on making sure adults never lose the fun of play from when they are kids and saw him star alongside his brothers in a new short film.
In an exclusive interview discussing this, however, Holland revealed a major plan he has outside of film altogether.
When asked about his goals moving forward, Holland said he had always been a ‘very ambitious person’ and added that there are ‘all sorts of things he would love to do’.

Chief amongst these he revealed was a plan related to his charity The Brother’s Trust.

He said: “I have an end goal of what I'd like to do, which is essentially that I'd like to build a school with the best facilities that any school in London can offer, but is totally free and rivals any private school in the country.”
He also added that he would envision this potential school being for people who ‘might not be able to afford it’, adding that it was his ‘lifelong goal’.
The Brother’s Trust is a charity that was set up by Tom’s parents, Nikki and Dominic, which is run by the whole family, including himself and his three brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy.

Their mission is stated as being to ‘shine a light on and to help charities who struggle to be heard in the noisy not-for-profit sector' by funding and publicising under-recognized charities.
Tom went on to say that, as an actor, he is ‘blessed to be doing what he’s doing’ and is ‘lucky’ to have walked onto the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Speaking about his campaign with LEGO, Holland stated that the name alone of the campaign had him excited to take part in Never Stop Playing.
He went on to point to how young kids are oftentimes simply sat on their phones at dinner tables, saying: “I think that play is a great icebreaker for that sort of thing and I think that what the LEGO Group is doing with this new campaign is really inspiring.”
