Victoria Beckham has offered a very measured response after being asked about her husband David Beckham's alleged affair with Rebecca Loos.
While the 51-year-old former Spice Girl has always remained tight-lipped on the subject, Victoria appeared to address the rumours in a recent podcast appearance.
The fashion designer made a rare appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, which was released earlier today (22 October), where she was subtly asked about the scandal.
"You've dealt with speculations throughout your whole career about your marriage," Alex said. "I know David touched on this in the documentary. Can you just explain how you and David handled this?"

Victoria responded: "Do you know... we’ve had so much thrown at us and we were talking about it because we’ve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and by the way, people said it wouldn’t work...
"26 years. We’ve had so much thrown at us and we’ve always just been there together and just ridden the damn storm."

As mentioned by the podcast host, mum-of-four Victoria spoke indirectly about the alleged affair when appearing on husband David's 2023 Netflix docuseries Beckham.
Although they didn't speak about the affair itself, they did discuss the media fallout that occurred after Loos came forward with the allegations.

"It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us. Here’s the thing – we were against each other if I’m being completely honest," she said.
"You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.
"But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.

"It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town right? Unless you’re in it."

The scandal dates back to 2004 when tabloids ran a story claiming David was having an affair with his then-PA Loos, after the pair were photographed in a nightclub together. Loos later did a tell-all interview with Sky News to tell her side of the story.
The Beckhams vehemently denied the claims and have never spoken on the subject for nearly two decades until the subject was broached in the Netflix series.
After the release of the docuseries, Loos said David 'needs to take responsibility,' before later claiming she's 'never lied about a single thing.'
