Charlie Cox wants to see Daredevil appear in the upcoming third Deadpool flick.

During a panel at German Comic-Con in Dortmund, the actor explained why it would make sense for the blind superhero to appear in the MCU.

He said (via The Direct): “I think because of the tone of our show, I think that there’s a place for Daredevil to show up in Deadpool.

"It would be really cool.”

Footage of his comments began circulating on Twitter, which of course, sent Marvel fans into a frenzy.

One person wrote: “My team red dreams come closer with every passing second.”

Another shared: “Ryan Reynolds quickly writing in a Daredevil cameo.”

While a third commented: “Wolverine and Daredevil. Well Deadpool 3 is going to be nuts.”

Fans are eagerly anticipating Deadpool 3, as Reynolds announced in September that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his role as Wolverine in the threequel.

Reynolds said in a video that Deadpool's arrival into the MCU had to be huge.

He said: "I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth and motivation, new meaning.”

He added: “Every Deadpool needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside, and I… I have nothing… yeah… just… completely… empty up there… and terrifying."

And what better way to make a killer MCU debut than teaming up with one of the most beloved Marvel superheroes to star in your film?

Well played, Mr Reynolds.

Throw in a little Daredevil action, and this is the Holy Trinity of Marvel superheroes.

President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige also teased to The Hollywood Reporter that Deadpool 3 had to be a ‘big swing’ for Marvel.

“How do we elevate it in the way we’ve been able to with Civil War, and Infinity War and Ragnarok?” said Feige.

While very little is known about the upcoming movie, Bob's Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin have reportedly been commissioned to write the film.

According to Deadline, the two jumped on board after Reynolds decided they had a ‘perfect vision’ of how the character should evolve.

Deadpool 3 is set to be released in November 2024.
