Chesapeake Shores season 7: will it be coming back?

Chesapeake Shores has been a hit show for many years now, with an unusually long run.

The show started back in 2016, after being based on a novel of the same name by the author Sherryl Woods.

Created by John Tinker and Nancey Silvers, fans have been loving season six so far, after it began airing in August.

As always, fans are definitely wanting more of the drama filled series which focuses on relationships.

Chesapeake Shores: will there be a season 7?

Sadly for fans of the show, Chesapeake Shores is the latest casualty in shows being cancelled.

It was confirmed back in March 2022 that season six will be the final series.

It began airing on August 22nd, and fans are waiting to see how all of the loose ends will be tied up.

Another popular series, Dynasty, is also coming to an end too.

What will fans watch now?

Laurie Ferneau is Hallmark’s SVP of Programming, Series released the following statement: “With a top-notch ensemble cast and creative team, Chesapeake Shores has shared stories that are relatable, poignant and unforgettable. We look forward to honoring the journey viewers have been on with the O’Briens with one final, special season.”

Fans can at least be relieved that there will be no major cliffhangers left to torture them with, if the show had been cancelled with no warning.

When is Chesapeake Shores season 6 ending?

Altogether there are 10 episodes of season six to be enjoyed before it all comes to an end.

This mean the finale will air on Sunday, October 16th 2022.

If you watch on Netflix, the episodes appear a day later.

The finale will arrive on there on Monday, October 17th 2022.

Fans have been expressing their upset on social media that their favourite show is coming to an end, while writers of the series have been sharing memories of their favourite episodes.
