The new series of Euphoria has propelled its characters out of high school, with a five-year time jump from where we left off.
And that means they’re properly ‘adults’, pursuing new careers or in the case of people like Rue (Zendaya) getting into more trouble.
For Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) that new venture seems to be starting an OnlyFans career, leading to some pretty wild scenes on the show.
This week’s episode of Euphoria (and we’re only two episodes in mind) saw the actor go near enough fully nude as she posed for different shots.

While it might just be fiction for Sweeney, it’s close to a lived truth for co-star Chloe Cherry (who plays Faye Valentine), having worked in the adult industry in real life.
The 28-year-old spoke to Refinery 29 about Cassie’s storyline as she said it feels ‘crazy as f**k’ to see someone with that character’s lifestyle ‘turn to sex work’.
Cherry slammed this concept in the real world as she continued: “Like holy sh*t, that’s where we’re at in society?”
In the third season of HBO’s hit show so far, Cassie says she is creating the content to help fund her wedding to Nate (Jacob Elordi), with her heart set on a pricey floral arrangement.
This sees her dressing up as a dog, a baby and having ice cream melt down her bare chest.

“OnlyFans and sex work has become more normalised,” Cherry continued. “But it’s literally only because of capitalism and the economy getting worse.”
The star claimed that this mainstream use of adult content has ‘nothing to do with empowerment or power’.
“The economy is horrible, that’s why people are turning to it,” she said. “I really think OnlyFans is like a crazy, weird phenomenon in the 2020s [that] we’ll look back on and be very confused by.”

Cherry previously worked as an adult film star, having starred in a Euphoria porn parody before being cast in the real show.
And she has since advised against working in the industry in a hope to get into film or Tv or ‘anything that’s not in the adult industry’.
“The only thing that entering the adult industry is going to guarantee is that you'll be seen as a porn star,” she told Out Magazine.
“If you're OK with being seen as a porn star for the rest of your life, that is the only reason that you should enter the adult entertainment industry... never to do other things.”
