Chloe Cherry’s role in Euphoria season two may not have been the most high profile, but her character is now a part of the most viral scene from season three’s premiere.
Cherry stars as Faye in the TV show and within the first 15 minutes of episode one her and Zendaya’s Rue are swallowing balloons full of Fentanyl in a scene that left numerous viewers feeling sick.
Cherry herself had a surprising route into appearing on Euphoria, having previously been an adult film star who actually starred in a Euphoria porn parody before being cast in the real show.
Despite it getting her a career in Euphoria Cherry has spoken out about the dark side of the porn industry, stating that she wouldn’t recommend anyone get into it if they hoped to replicate what happened to her.
Cherry spoke about how difficult it was to work in the porn industry and transition to TV

The pornstar turned actor said in an interview with Out Magazine: “Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, I would not recommend a singular person on this Earth get into the adult industry in an attempt to do something that is movies or TV or anything that's not in the adult industry.
“I believe that a person should only enter the adult industry if they want to have a career in the adult industry.
“Nobody should ever enter the adult industry with the hopes of being seen as anything else.
“The only thing that entering the adult industry is going to guarantee is that you'll seen as a porn star.
“If you're OK with being seen as a porn star for the rest of your life, that is the only reason that you should enter the adult entertainment industry... never to do other things.”
The actor got into porn due in part to her ‘very religious’ upbringing
When discussing how she got into porn, Cherry pointed to the fact that she was raised Amish.
She told Nick Viall: “I think a lot of it had to do with where I’m from, an Amish place. People were very religious and it was very normalised where I was from to not have sex until marriage and people just hated sex and thought nobody casually had sex.
“Nobody did anything at all and it really fucked with my brain because I got this sense that sex is amazing and we all really like to have it.

“I started watching a lot of porn when I was younger because of the fact I wanted to see a world where people actually like to have sex and actually just admit that sex feels good and we want to do it a as long as it’s done safely it’s fine.”
She went on to claim that ‘no one’ wants to save themselves for marriage or have sex with only one person for the rest of their life, adding: “I feel like maybe I wouldn’t have been as into sex if people weren’t so anti-sex. That’s what we were taught in school, that abstinence is key and all this weird stuff, and I had these weird ideas about sex. I swear, if you tell people you can never do it and never have it, it just messes with them.”
