Kate Beckinsale accidentally hit Colin Farrell in the face with her vagina on the set of Total Recall

Colin Farrell had a ‘vagina slam the face’ courtesy of his co-star Kate Beckinsale on the set of their filmTotal Recall, and you probably now have a lot of questions.

The 49-year-old actor starred opposite Farrell, 46, in the 2012 remake of the 1990 film of the same name starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In the film, factory worker Douglas Quaid begins to suspect that he’s a spy after visiting Rekall – a company that provides its clients with implanted false memories of a life they would like to have led. After visiting the company everything starts to go wrong and Mr Quaid finds himself on the run.

One scene called for Beckinsale to slide towards Farrell with her legs open on the floor, which ultimately led to the Horrible Bosses actor getting a faceful of Beckinsale’s ‘iron vagina’.

In 2016, Beckinsale spoke about the scene during an interview on The Graham Norton Show, where she was joined on the red couch by Matt LeBlanc, Emilia Clarke, Dominic Cooper and singer Corinne Bailey Rae.

Norton wasted no time in asking Beckinsale about the ‘unfortunate thing’ she had with Farrell on set.

“Oh yeah, so a vagina slam to the face,” she responded. “Let’s just say what it is.

“So, I was on the floor in a sort of shiny-ish trouser and my legs were open and I sort of had to slide towards him in a, you know, Dirty Dancing sort of way – but a mean Dirty Dancing way – and sort of chin him in the face with my area and just tough as iron.”

As the audience erupted in laughter, LeBlanc asked what exactly is ‘tough as iron’ to which the Underworld star continued: “No I was saying it must be because he was knocked out after and I went zooming towards – it's perishing enough, zooming towards someone you don’t know that well with your iron vagina.”

The funny mishaps didn’t end there as Beckinsale’s shoe also wanted to make a very loud and rather awkward noise during the scene.

“My shoe made a really, very realistic farty noise all the way there. His face was so horrified. He was bracing enough for the vagina coming towards him but then it was kind of going [makes raspberry noise].”

Unfortunately for the actor, nobody believed her when she said the farting noise was the result of her shoe.
