As of 2022, David Dickinson has an estimated net worth of $3 million (£2.5 million), according to Idol Net Worth.

Dickinson's career did not start immediately in show business, but rather as an apprentice in an aircraft factory as a teenager.

After spending three years in prison for mail-order fraud and followed by a steady business that succumbed to recession in 1991, Dickinson then focussed on selling eighteenth and nineteenth-century antiques at fairs several times a year.

He made his first TV appearance in 1998 in a BBC documentary about him and his preparations for these fairs.

He is known for his quirky catchphrases, some of which include “real bobby-dazzler” and “cheap as chips”.

Dickinson has presented other notable shows such as The Antique Show, Bargain Hunt, The David Dickinson Show, Dickinson’s Real Deal and Name Your Price

Staying true to his specialty, Dickinson also owns a £44,000 Reliant Regal van used in 1981 sitcom Only Fools and Horses.

Nonetheless, the TV host still has a penchant for expensive cars like any other celebrity, owning a £250,000 black Bentley Continental GT Supersport.
