Following the exciting news that Fast and Furious’ Vin Diesel has kicked off filming for the tenth movie in the franchise in London, fans of the heart-racing saga can’t wait to see what’s in store for the film.
It’s been one year since viewers saw the likes of the Fast family, but pretty soon, the wait will soon be over as the actor recently took to Instagram to explain that the movie is “back in London, amongst many new locations around the world for the Finale of Fast…
“Hope to make you proud…”
“All love, Always,” he signed off.
So, here’s all the info you need to know about Fast & Furious 10.
Fans of The Fast and Furious franchise should mark April 2023 on their calendars for the next instalment to be released.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the 10th movie in the main storyline is set for release on 7th April 2023, if the pandemic doesn't get in the way of filming or production.
Vin Diesel has hinted that the final arc will be spread across two movies and filming could be completed back to back.
The star of the franchise said filming on the 10th movie is expected to get underway in January next year and suggested the finale will be worth it.
In Fast and Furious 10, the saga's prominent actors, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, and Sung Kang, are all expected to return for the final film, as well as the director Justin Lin.
However, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is not going to reappear for the finale to The Fast and Furious franchise.
Despite saying he and Diesel had buried the hatchet and ended their long-running feud back in 2019, it looks like their relationship isn’t quite what it was.
Diesel recently said he was only giving The Rock some 'tough love' while shooting scenes together. But Johnson hit back at that claim.
He told SlashFilm: "I laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I'll leave it at that. And that I've wished them well.
"I wish them well on Fast 9. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast and Furious movies they do that will be without me."
Considering news has only just surfaced about filming beginning for Fast and Furious 10, it’s too early for a trailer just yet.
Keep checking back though, as when one drops, we’ll let you know right here.
