The Haunting of Hill House actors Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Pedretti and Henry Thomas have all announced that they will be returning for the second season of the Netflix horror series and the latest to confirm she's rejoining the cast is Kate Siegel.

Siegel, 37, played Theo Crain in season one but Netflix kept the identity of her new character a secret when speaking to The Wrap about The Haunting of Bly Manor.

We already know that Pedretti will star in the upcoming instalment as a governess called Dani 'who takes care of two very unusual children'. Jackson-Cohen has been cast as a character called Peter who has been described as 'a charming fellow'.

As with Siegel, details about Thomas' character haven't been revealed just yet - however, writer and director of the series Mike Flanagan tweeted the announcement of her return:

Siegel responded to his tweet saying: "You must like her or something! So excited!!!"

Fans were obviously made up about the news and asked for the reunion to gather more cast members. One said: "YES YES YES!!!! SUCH GREAT NEWS! Bloody excited!!! Now please, announce @carlagugino ! Do you know that it his her birthday today? What an amazing day to announce the return of Carla Gugino to The Haunting!! Don't you agree???"

Another added: "Does this mean there's hope for @annabethgish," while a third wrote: "Please tell us Michiel Huisman is coming back too! Also please tell me this will be in the vein of American Horror Story where everyone comes back and plays someone different! I love this cast too much!"

One at a time, eh folks?

While the first season centred on Hill House and the Crain family, the new season is set in Bly Manor and will be completely separate from the first.

Bly Manor is the name of the (haunted) house in classic horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. GCSE English, anyone?

The 1898 story tells the story of a governess who goes to Bly Manor to look after two recently orphaned children, Miles and Flora, but quickly becomes convinced that the grounds of the estate are - you guessed it - haunted.

The Haunting of Bly Manor has no official release date yet, but is expected to land in 2020.
