The all-new and improved Top Gear hit our screens two days ago, and the reviews have been mixed to say the least.
It was never going to be exactly the same as when Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May were hosting it - everyone knew that. But were we all holding our expectations a little too high? Maybe.
Well now, one of the original three has finally given his opinion.

James May told MailOnlineMailOnline that he was a 'massive fan' of the show but would not comment on the show's bad reviews.
Jeremy Clarkson was also approached, however he said he is 'busy working on my new show', but he added to the press that he will talk to them 'another time'. Richard Hammond hasn't said anything.
On Twitter, James May addressed the show again with this tweet:
I'm really looking forward to watching Top Gear without knowing what happens in the end. #NoSpoilerAlert

So it seems like there's no bad blood between them.
However, we still need to see what Clarkson has to say for himself. Watch this space.
