If you had to pick somebody to narrate your sad, boring, pathetic life (well mine, anyway), Morgan Freeman would surely be up there.

He has the most distinctive voice in the business and he can make just about anything sound incredible. Even a man crossing the road.

The 79-year-old recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and didn't disappoint when asked to make the mundane magical.

"There he was," Freeman says, "chewing something." Honestly, give him a watch. It's truly gripping stuff.

The man - we can assume his name is Joe - is dressed in a 'shirt buttoned to the top' and getting ready to cross the road while taking a bite on something.

Just going to sit here and listen to this a few more times until my hangover disappears.

He's the man!

"Look both ways chewing something Joe."
