The movie will tell the true story of the Dunkirk evacuations during World War II. Filming has taken place in a number of countries to make it as true to the real story as possible.

Styles even got a haircut, much to the despair of every 13-year-old girl in the world.

The evacuation of the Allied force from Dunkirk in northern France, led to 330,000 troops being rescued and Winston Churchill's famous 'we shall fight on the beaches' speech.

Talking about the efforts, Churchill said the nation managed to change a "colossal military disaster" into "a miracle of deliverance."

This is the first time Nolan has been behind a war movie, but film fans are excited at the thought of his latest offering given the amazing job he did with the Dark Knight trilogy and Inception.
