The grand fucking return of Robot Wars was everything I wanted it to be and more and I could not be any happier that it's back.
There's no doubt this is going to be a huge success for the BBC, and Lord knows they need it after the Top Gear debacle.

But the less said of that, the better. Let's talk about Robot Wars.
The house robots have all been rebuilt with major upgrades, which means Matilda Death Metal, Shunt and Sir Killalot are going to be bigger and meaner than they've ever been.
However, in the group stages, it's all about the homemade robots. And they were fucking sick.
