National treasure Louis Theroux's latest trailer is out and this time it's about the batshit world of Scientology.
The notoriously secretive group were reluctant to speak to him, but he did manage to get some interviews with people who have since left. Furthermore, Louis didn't let the fact that most of those still involved in Scientology didn't want to speak to him. Instead, he just cast people to play them in reconstructed scenes under the guidance of the former senior executive of Scientology, Marty Rathbun.

Marty calls himself the baddest-ass dude in Scientology, so you just know him and Louis are going to make an amazing team. The trailer, which is ahead of the film's Australian release, shows Marty helping to 'coach' the actors into recreating some of the scenes he'd lived through when he was involved with the cult group. The clip shows an actor shouting 'You fuck up one more time and I will rip your fucking face off!'

Naturally, the Church of Scientology deny any abusive behaviour.
Marty has had a bit of a rough time since leaving the group and Louis gets a bit of the same treatment himself. The trailer shows Louis getting followed for over four hours by the same car and a very angry lady shouting at him to stop filming her, even though she has someone filming Louis. It then gets a bit childish, with Louis telling her: "You tell him to stop filming and I'll tell him to stop filming you."
The movie is out in Australia in September, but according to the BBC, us Brits will have to wait until 7 October to go and see it in cinemas.
Scientology seems like a prime topic for Louis to cover and I cannot fucking wait to see this.
