​‘This Is England’ Stars Reunite For Thomas Turgoose’s Wedding

For most of us, yesterday involved a lot of booze, perhaps some party nibbles and maybe even a midnight snog if you were lucky.

But Thomas Turgoose was busy taking that all to a next level with his New Year's Eve - doing, well, probably exactly all of those things, but also casually getting married.

The actor shared photos from the big day to Instagram, including one of him and new wife Charlotte being showered with confetti after getting married.

But in another photo there was something arguably even more poignant for fans of This is England, in which he famously starred as young Shaun Fields - the one he captioned 'Family #TIE'.

Yup, several of his This is England co-stars were celebrating Turgoose's big day with him, and they were all smiles.

Michael Socha, who played Harvey in the film and its TV series off-shoot, even stuck his fingers up behind Turgoose's head, because even on your wedding day it seems you're not exempt from classic pranks like that.

While there was no sign of Joe Gilgun (who you'll remember as Woody) or Rosamund Hanson (Smell), other guests did include Vicky McClure, Stephen Graham (Combo), Andrew Shim (Milky) and Andrew Ellis (Gadget), as well as Turgoose's former on-screen mum, Jo Hartley.

Many of his Instagram followers commented to congratulate him and Charlotte on tying the knot, but others were simply buzzing to see the cast all back together.

"What a belter of a pic," one person said.

"Wedding guest goals," another wrote.

"The best photo ever," a third added.

Another said everyone looked pretty different 'when not wearing clothes from the 80/90s'.

And it looked as though Turgoose's guests had one hell of a time at the wedding - judging by many of their Instagram Stories.

Jo Hartley shared videos of Vicky McClure and others on the dancefloor, and McClure returned the favour by posting a clip of the two of them singing along to a song with Andrew Ellis.

Posting photos from the day, McClure also wrote: "Definitely best way to see the new year in... with loads of love! Huge congratulations @thomasturgoose1 & @charlottelucy92."

Andrew Shim also captured the moment that the newlyweds walked into the reception to applause and whooping from their guests.
