The Trailer For The First Episode Of South Park's New Season Is Hilarious

This Wednesday, South Park will return for its 20th season. Judging by the trailer, they're planning to take the piss out of the recent controversy over NFL players kneeling and sitting during the US national anthem.

Colin Kaepernick and the other San Francisco 49ers players involved in the protest said they were doing it to protest racism in America, loads of other people said it was disrespectful. Tweets were tweeted, think pieces were written, comment section flame wars erupted - ultimately, the world kept turning.

Anyway Comedy Central has released a 30-second promo video hyping the episode lampooning the controversy.

In the video they sing: "Colin Kaepernick is brave / Cops are pigs, cops are pigs / Wait, someone just took my stuff / I need to call the cops."

South Park returns this Wednesday on Comedy Central in the US with ten all-new episodes.
