Longtime fans of Adam Sandler will know that he's quite the creature of habit when it comes to his movies.
The comedy star has consistently cast the same famous faces in his movies, while he has also repeatedly roped his wife into subtly starring in them, too. And it turns out that he's also quite the fan of recurring jokes as well - as his co-star Rob Schneider can tell you.
Sandler and Schneider have appeared in more than a dozen flicks together since they first struck up a friendship in the 80s while forging their careers as comedians.
They remain both close companions and longtime collaborators after starring in cult classics such as The Waterboy, Big Daddy and The Animal.
Throughout their movies, Sandler put his pal dangerously at risk of gaining a reputation for being a broken record - as he made Schneider utter the same line in several of the movies they collaborated on.
The Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo actor, 61, utters the famous phrase in at least five of the films he and Sandler are both in, including The Waterboy, Little Nicky, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard, and Bedtime Stories.
Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler have been pals since the 80s (Columbia Pictures) You know the one...Schneider is the guy who pops up among the crowd to yell out: "You can do it!"
As a result of being subjected to the repetition over the years, he's the first person we think of whenever we're offering those words of encouragement to someone.
But what does Schneider himself think of the catchphrase which Sandler gifted him?
Well, in a previous interview, he compared fans screaming it at him to consuming a very nice cup of coffee which you end up growing to resent.
Sharing his interesting analogy, Schneider told the hosts of radio show Mai FM Morning Crew: "It's just like a...you know when you get sick of a certain kind of coffee and you go 'I can't have that again' and then you miss it?
"Tastes really good, and then you wanna throw up after a while.

While supporting his pal Sandler at the premiere of his Netflix film Happy Gilmore 2, the comedy star spoke of his desire for the Grown Ups gang to get back together.
"If he does Happy Gilmore 2, he's going to have to do Grown Ups three, four, five, six and seven, so that I can finally pay off my house and my kids private school and the boat and the second house in Portugal," Schneider joked while chatting to Entertainment Tonight.
"And hey, look, I'm not thinking about me - I'm thinking about Adam and the fans."
Speaking of Sandler's reservations about creating the sequel to the hit 1996 film about the surprise success of an unlikely golf player, he continued: "We've been asking him to do [a Happy Gilmore sequel] for years.
"But it's a lot of responsibility because the kids who saw this are now parents. And now they've got their kids. So Adam wants to make sure it's just as good an experience as the first time. "
He joked that the premiere of the comedy film was a 'good way for Sandler to get his old friends together', adding: "No one in the history of show business has been more loyal, more generous and more kind...he's just an incredible guy."
When asked where his 'happy place' was, Schneider then added: "Any place with my family...or on set with Adam Sandler. I'd take that one first."
