Elon Musk's ex Ashley St Clair turned down $40 million NDA to speak out about his 13th child
Ashley St Clair says she refused to sign an alleged multi-million-dollar non-disclosure agreement in order to set an example for her young children.
The 28-year-old former MAGA influencer went viral after coming forward as the mother of Elon Musk's 13th child in February 2025.
Now, St Clair has claimed that she was offered a $40 million (£29.5 million) NDA by Musk's team in exchange for her silence. Speaking about the offer during an appearance at a Venice Film Festival press conference, the content creator said that she had done it to make sure her children understood the value of being able to speak openly.
"I was offered the opportunity not to speak for $40 million," St Clair said at the press panel.

"When you're offered something like that, it really causes a debate in your head about what your speech means, how valuable that is, and why do they want to offer me this amount of money to not speak."
She continued: "Most importantly, I want to set the example for my kids that we should never take being materially comfortable that we’re speaking the truth."
St Clair was speaking ahead of her appearance in Alex Gibney's upcoming documentary film Musk, which examines the richest man in the world's rise to power and the influence he's managed to build.
She isn't the only one of Musk's former partners to feature in the documentary, with his ex-wife Justine Wilson also appearing as an interviewee. Wilson is the mother of six of Musk's children, including son Nevada, who passed away from sudden infant death syndrome at 10 weeks old, and daughter Vivian, who is estranged from her father.
Who is Ashley St Clair?
St Clair rose to prominence on the internet as a conservative cultural commentator and influencer at the age of 19, later becoming known for her pro-Trump and anti-trans views.
She would later meet Musk, 55, in 2023 and gave birth to their son in 2024.
In 2026 St Clair denounced her time as a right-wing and anti-trans commentator, saying that she felt 'immense guilt' for her previous views and had been 'trying incredibly hard privately to learn + advocate for those within the trans community that I've hurt'.
St Clair has since gained a following on social media where she has addressed her time as a MAGA influencer and subsequent political shift.
In a recent video posted to her account, St Clair explained the pressure of being a public figure, stating that she had taken a temporary break from TikTok as she didn't want to fall back into toxic behaviours which had 'clouded' her judgement for 'almost 10 years'.
St Clair has also launched legal action against the Grok function on Musk-owned social media platform X, alleging that it had made AI sexually explicit deepfakes of her.
