Elon Musk’s daughter said she’s taken to wearing disguises when she goes out nowadays.
Vivian Wilson has pretty publicly been feuding with her billionaire tech boss dad in recent years, with it leaked in 2022 that she’d petitioned to drop his last name.
And that was pretty much the first time we even found out she existed.
The 21-year-old stated in the court documents in California that she doesn’t ‘wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form’.

She also called Musk out last year as he claimed to have been ‘tricked’ into approving Vivian’s gender-affirming medical care.
At the time she petitioned to have her last name changed, the Tesla CEO seemed supportive saying it was ‘important to defend her right to privacy’. But he later deadnamed her as having been ‘killed by the woke mind virus’.

And nowadays as people latch onto their feud, Wilson is clear that she wants people to know her ‘as something other than just the obvious’.
So, she’s taken to different methods to help her with that as last year’s big back-and-forth with Musk got her a lot more attention than what may have been expected – particularly from ‘extremely online right-wing trolls’.

“A lot of people have tried to spin things I say into things I don’t mean,” she told The Cut, with more people watching what she’s getting up to than ever.
For example, when she did last go out and have a few drinks at a party, she was quickly all over the likes of TMZ.
So, she now wears a disguise when she goes out to the gay bars.
When asked just what that disguise entails, Wilson said: “You don’t need to know my ways!”
Well, I guess it wouldn’t be a very good disguise if she told everyone exactly what to look out for.

The trolling and ‘creepy’, ‘disgusting’ things people have sent to Wilson has led to her being more ‘hinged’ – something she ‘hates’.
“Last-year me was mega-unhinged,” she said. “I didn’t know what the f**k I was doing, and I didn’t give a f**k. I kind of hate the fact that I care now.”
That ‘unhinged’ behaviour from Wilson included the likes of her iconic Threads post when she wrote: “Last time I checked I am, indeed, not dead,” and noted that her dad was in a ‘ketamine-fuelled haze’ and ‘desperate for attention and validation’.
