Channing Tatum has revealed why filming a nude scene for his upcoming film ended up being his 'worst nightmare'.
Now, you'd think the 45-year-old wouldn't be too fazed by the prospect of stripping off for a role, given the fact that one of his biggest film roles involved playing a male stripper in the Magic Mike franchise, however Tatum has revealed he found getting his kit off a little awkward while on set recently.
The actor is currently promoting his latest film Roofman, which is inspired by the case of 'rooftop robber' Jeffrey Manchester.

A loosely accurate take on the real-life case, Tatum's Jeffrey escapes from prison and hides out in a local Toys 'R' Us while he waits for the ongoing police manhunt to die down.
Take a look at the trailer below:
Now you may be wondering how a film about a guy hiding out in a Toys 'R' Us while on the run could possibly have nudity involved, with the trailer revealing that Jeffrey is interrupted while showering by store employee Mitch (Peter Dinklage).
And it turns out the moment was pretty awkward for Tatum to film for one particular reason.

Opening up on the moment during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Tatum revealed that he was filming without any modesty garments such as a thong on or underwear or a sock.
"I don't care how confident you are, it's your worst nightmare," Tatum explained.
"Everyone's clothed by the way, and you're the only one that's naked. That's actually the ultimate worst nightmare.
"Usually I have like a thong on or underwear or a sock, or something," he continued.

"No, this one, I show up on the day and I'm like, 'So how are we gonna film this?' I read over it in the script and I was like, 'Yeah, there's gonna be a plan for that'... [Derek Cianfrance, director] is like, 'Yeah, I don't know.' And I'm like, 'What? What do you mean you don't know how we're gonna shoot this? And he's like, 'We'll figure it out.'"
The actor went on to explain that at one point in the scene he jumps onto a bike rack while the camera is 'right down the proverbial barrel' if you get what he means.
"I think I dissociated throughout the day," he added of the scene.
Fortunately for Tatum, he was able to build a strong working relationship with costar Dinklage, with the actor previously telling people the Game of Thrones star was 'the best partner' for the scene.

"I'm not sure if I can say running away from Peter Dinklage butt naked is the most fun. Because you feel utterly exposed," he told PEOPLE.
"Dinklage literally was the best partner in that scene because it was just funny and fun and we're both just making jokes the whole time."
