Florence Pugh previously spilled the beans on a technical hiccup which occurred while filming a sex scene with Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer.
Thanks to closed sets and the existence of intimacy co-ordinators, filming intimate scenes appears to be much less of an ordeal for actors these days.
However, this doesn't mean that things can't go wrong from time to time, as several actors have divulged tales of awkward moments occurring while they're faking getting it on between the sheets.

One such moment happened for Pugh and Murphy while they were filming for Christopher Nolan's Oscar-winning biopic Oppenheimer in 2022.
Now you may be thinking, 'How does a film about the building of the atom bomb manage to fit a sex scene into the script?' to which I'd say, 'Well, that's all thanks to the inclusion of Robert Oppenheimer's (Murphy) affair with Jean Tatlock (Pugh)'.
Oppenheimer and Tatlock's affair plays out for viewers to see in the film in full detail, meaning the actors shared numerous nude scenes together.
And unfortunately for Pugh and Murphy, the camera would suffer a technical malfunction while filming one of these.

"In the middle of our sex scene, the camera broke. No one knows this, but it did," the Marvel actor revealed during a Universal Q&A for the film.
"Our camera broke when we were both naked and it was not ideal timing and there weren't many cameras," she continued.
"So Cillian and I are in this room together, and it's a closed set, so we're both holding our bodies."
Fortunately for Pugh, she was able to make the best out of the unfortunate situation at hand, deciding that now was a perfect time to expand her knowledge about film cameras.
Explaining the exact thoughts running through her head at that moment, the 29-year-old said: "This camera surgeon comes into the room and starts and I'm like, 'well, this is my moment to learn'.

"So, tell me, what's wrong with this camera?"
Meanwhile, Murphy revealed that Nolan had made the deliberate decision to include the x-rated scenes, despite knowing it would earn the film an R rating.
"He knew that those scenes would get the movie the rating that it got. And I think when you see it, it's so f**king powerful," the Peaky Blinders star explained to the Sydney Morning Herald.
"And they're not gratuitous. They're perfect."

Murphy went on to praise Pugh's work in the film, adding: "Florence is just amazing... The impact she has [in Oppenheimer] for the size of the role, it's quite devastating."
Fancy reliving the events of the Academy Award-winning film all over again? You're in luck, as Oppenheimer is currently streaming on Netflix.
