Fans of the Grinch have been left stunned at the realisation of who played little Cindy Lou Who.
This comes after the musician reunited with Jim Carrey for the first time in 25 years at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday (8 November).
The 63-year-old, of course, played the titular character in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and his then five-year-old co-star says working with him had a ‘powerful, lasting impact’ on them as an adult.
As they appeared at the ceremony together over the weekend, film fans said it was a ‘Xmas miracle’ that they were together again. And sure, it seems a bit early for anything Christmassy, but even this reunion could warm the Grinch’s heart.

Plus, what a nice early Christmas gift to put two and two together on the Gossip Girl star who played Cindy Lou.

“Today years old when I found out Taylor played Cindy Lou,” one user wrote on Instagram as Carrey posed with his old co-star – Taylor Momsen.
Yep, the 32-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist who has since left acting behind.
After appearing in the Grinch, she went on to appear in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, Underdog and, of course, playing Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl.
But she left the series as a regular cast member in 2011, saying she had quit acting to focus on her music career, having fronted the band Pretty Reckless from 2009.
Momsen was appearing at the induction ceremony on Saturday to perform with the surviving members of Soundgarden.
Yet, her appearance alongside Carrey, of course, captured the attention of Grinch fans, with one writing: “Great to see them together. Hope they make a part 2.”
“I’m f**king old,” another joked.
A third wrote: “This meetup we didn’t know we needed.”

Speaking on the red carpet, Carrey told reporters: “We haven’t seen each other since The Grinch,” as Momsen added: “Yeah, it’s been 25 years. This is insane.”
And the Cindy Lou actor also spoke to PEOPLE about some of her favourite memories of working with him.
“I have a lot, honestly,” the musician said. “I just love that he was very protective of me. He was always very kind. And just the entire experience of filming Grinch and getting to know him so well, even in all the makeup, was just wonderful.”
She added that watching Carrey at work and taking his ‘craft so seriously’ left a long impact on her.
“And I’m excited to be able to tell him that as a grownup,” Momsen said.
